Ice Road Truckers: I just watched a recap of last years show tonight. (The new season starts next Sunday)
Then i checked my email and badda boom badda bing. I see this.
Hi Aaron,
I saw you posted about History’s “Ice Road Truckers” last year on your Truck Driver Blog, and I just wanted to alert you and your readers that “minisodes” from season one are now up on the “Ice Road Truckers” minisite . The 5-10 minute minisodes will offer a great refresher as viewers and truckers gear up for the season two premiere on June 8th! You can access the “minisodes” directly by clicking here: http://tinyurl.com/62o4x4.
Thanks for your time, Aaron.
Best regards,
Christine
Thanks Christine, Now i hope you don't mind when i start giving everyone your email address when they start asking me how to apply! Ha, just kidding.
I found some interesting info from the "New For 2008 Driver Orientation Manual" Go down to page 6...
No commercial, media, video or rolling film cameras allowed either inside or attached to the outside of the vehicle.
Does that mean a driver cant bring along a camera and then post a video on YouTube?
Hmm.
Here is a list off all the rules and safety info for the ice roads in 2008.

Rick is the biggest winer with a job i have ever seen. Please fire his ass now. As a man who works hard i cannot stand watching any more.
Ice road trucking is not that dangerous and i hate that it is made to look so dangerous. The men that do it "If thats what u call a man" are the biggest cry babys i have ever seen. The men i know think this show is a comedy.
The deadliest catch guys call the Ice Road Truckers "puny" I agree, its not that life threatening.
Rick and Drew... Big dumb piece of shit babies. I wouldnt hire them to clean the crappers in my office. Why are they featured on this series?
Whats with that little fat fuck Hugh....He thinks he's god's gift to truckers....He's a fuckin asshole..
Anonymous, i take it you don't like the show?
Drive on ice, stand the cold, live by the rules over there, stay away from your families all that time... As long as you haven't done that (and I'm sure you can't), just enjoy the show. It's a harsh enviroment there, it's natural that people complain if everything is difficult or that they brag if they can do better than the others... Whatever, just enjoy the show whether it's realistic or not. That's what TV is all about.
