put keywords here

For drivers appreciation week i was given a new truck. Here see, it has 48 miles on it.

I remember posting a picture about a new truck back when i started with this company. That truck went to another driver and i have been pretty much planted in a tractor pulling an end dump since back then. Till that truck threw a valve and we got this one, with 48 miles on it.
What else. What else has happened during driver appreciation week? Scrap prices have dropped like a brick. A brick inside a bale of tin inside an enigma inside a riddle. But actually that happened a couple weeks ago - the scrap prices falling.

I found a golf ball at work.

Did you know you can leave a comment on this blog without any effort. You just put in a name and type away. No signing-up required. I think Youtube has spoiled me. People are full of comments and things to say. They watch, they type. ALLOT. So why dont you , you 3000 people a day who come here and stay for an average of 3 minutes. Say something. And say it like you mean it!

Now all i get are comments from people trying to sell *#$& . So, the comments you are not seeing (because i do not publish them) say something like. Great video and then the user name says some thing like Truck Accessories. And the name is linked to a site with spam spam spam spam spam.

So, how bout i make another video where i answer emails. Yeah, ill do that. Ill make the non-personal spam look like toast and cheese. And then ill post it here, with so much enthusiasm you monitor will glow after you turn it off. In the mean time ill be on YouTube. www.youtube.com/Road82 <-- there is a nice size group of folks (truck drivers) over there putting out videos by the truck load. Thankfully its still a community and hasn't become a dumping ground for links and crap crap crap crap crap.

Like this blog post is crap. Blogging sucks.

That's what you get for being so popular. I get the same stuff. The spam filter on wordpress works pretty well and there's always someone looking for a link exchange for some crappy trucking job site that I've even stopped responding to.

Answering their comments on video, defeats their purpose of getting a link or publicity. Just don't say their website!

Well, these people actually sent me stuff, so i feel obligated.
I dont think its the spam, its the lack of interaction that bugs me.

I thought when i got over 100 or 200 hits a day the blog would get more interesting?

Here's a comment for you: You inspire me! Now that my old video camera is working again (two smacks to each side of the thing, no sh*t) and I finally found my firewire dongle for my laptop, I'll start posting more videos from the road.

After vacation next week...

Gi Gi.
It was lying on the ground. I suspect this was to do gravity.
How did it get there? Was it ever used in a game? Whose was it before i found it?
Noooobody knows. And i asked everyone that day.

Thanks for the appreciation Zoe.

Vince, you should MOVE! Your going to get whacked by a hurricane soon! I can sense it. Love that link BTW!

I don't mind commenting, and I do follow you on youtube, but life sometimes gets in the way and I haven't posted comments much anywhere since I have been helping wifey with her new blog, but normal service will return as soon as possible.

No 'canes here for the moment, thankfully. Still keeping an eye on the Atlantic and Gulf, though -- we're at the peak of the season and now is not the time to let one's guard down.

I'll never get used to these storms.

Speaking of trucker questions, I have one: what's the deal with the green/purple light I keep seeing in/on the grill of trucks these days? They're rare, but I see them every now and then at night.

I got a new dishwasher. It is really quiet. We had to pay a lot of money to get the quietest one, but it is totally worth it.

hey anonymous

quiet is important but so i vibrationlessness.

on a good machine you should be able to balance a quarter on its edge and it shouldnt fall over through out the whole cycle...

or am i thinking of washing machines ?????

thats right it is definitely washing machines...

you should be able to balance a washing machine on its edge

Your questions about the golf ball make me wonder if you are a writer? I a working on a book for young adults about a woman who hits the road with her daughter, hauling freight across country. Any interesting stories you have to spice up the book would make my day! Lois www.loisszymanski.com
